Good Lives Wairarapa collaborated with People First, Wairarapa Community Networks and FERNZ to hold Wairarapa’s inaugural disability expo at the Carterton Events Centre on Saturday 28 September 2024.
There were more than 30 exhibitors from a wide range of disability support networks, disability service providers and community organisations. Performances from Star jam and Wairarapa Kapa haka, health checks, as well as a variety of workshops, all made it a fun and informative event. The Expo and workshops were free to attend.
The next Wairarapa Disability Expo will be held on Saturday 28th February 2026.
