Art-Full Garden

In this project we aim to fill the Carterton Community Garden – Ngahere o te Ora Haumanu – with artful creations, people engaged in creating art and plants that can be used in creating art. The project will be facilitated by artist and gardener Steff Willmore and be delivered by garden volunteers and members of the local disability community. Following a few weeks of establish the garden plantings, installations and artwork, Steff will run a series of workshops on garden art. The workshops will be open to the wider community. The garden is a public space that will become more welcoming as it becomes filled with art and colour. This project is funded by the Carterton District Council Creative Communities Fund.
