In November last year, Dr Brigit Mirfin-Veitch and colleagues from the Donald Beasley Institute presented a one hour webinar on keeping people with intellectual disability free from violence and neglect. Their presentation is based on findings from the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care and their “Tell Me About You” project in which learning-disabled people told their own stories about state care.
